A bypass tool for Riot Games' Vanguard anti-cheat system is allegedly being sold by a threat actor on a Blackhat forum marketplace.

An individual, reportedly associated with the seller, has developed a tool that is being promoted as a means to bypass various cheat detection systems.

These include mechanisms that detect external software and impose bans based on hardware identification.

The bypass tool claims to emulate Vanguard, the anti-cheat software used by Riot Games for their popular game Valorant.

According to the forum post, this piece of software supposedly disables cheat detection, giving players the ability to use hacks without immediate consequences.

It is worth mentioning that the tool also claims its ability to prevent hardware ID bans. In cases where a player's computer is hardware banned, they are left with two options: either they can spoof their hardware ID or they can opt to purchase a new computer in order to regain access to the game.

According to this tool, players can allegedly keep using their device. Even if they have been hardware banned, they can still continue creating new accounts.

In an attempt to back up their claims, the individual responsible for the threat has presented an image proof, showcasing their uninterrupted gameplay of Valorant with cheats activated for a duration exceeding one hour, all without facing any penalties from the game system.

For a game like Valorant, where even the smallest cheats are detected almost immediately, this proof is particularly concerning.

This tool seems to completely bypass the usual instant ban imposed by Vanguard upon detection.

The bypass tool is currently being offered for sale at a price of $200, granting users lifetime access. However, it is worth noting that there are only five license keys available.

Vanguard is known for its stringent security measures, and the ability to bypass it could lead to a surge in cheating.

This not only affects the gaming experience for legitimate players but also threatens the competitive integrity of cheating for games like Valorant.

The use of this tool by players has raised concerns about potential unfair advantages, which could result in frustration and a potential loss of players.

At the time of writing, Riot Games has not provided an official response regarding the alleged bypass tool.

Considering the company's dedication to upholding a fair and competitive gaming environment, it is expected that they will promptly respond to this threat.
